Visitor: Zeenat Rani
Email: Zeenat@yesic.com
Home Page: http://www.geocities.com/Tokyo/Teahouse/7205/
Residence: Toronto, Canada. Student. Originated from Panaikulam, Tamil Nadu, India.

Visitor's comments: I am lost for words literally to describe the website of the Ameer. Oh Lord, Give me the sense of humor and satire this soul has! Salaam.

Ameer’s rejoinder: Salaam to you, too, Zeenat. I am not impervious to praise or dispraise but am not willing to drown in either. The words you use sound familiar. Sanai, who was himself a distinguished scholar and philosopher, wrote about Ali Sina:

“I do not seek for any reward in this world or the next,
Every moment I pray, whether in prosperity or in adversity,
O my Lord, bestow on Sanai the proficiency in philosophy and sciences
Such as would make even the soul of Bu Ali Sina jealous.”

Zeenat has been reading a great deal of varied subjects. I hope she would continue to do so. There can be too much of anything but knowledge.

Visitor: Syed Akbar Ali
Email: syedakbarali@yahoo.com
Residence: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Visitor's comments: I have had the opportunity to view your homepage. It is very interesting. You have spent much time putting it into shape. Salam.

Ameer’s rejoinder: Wa-alaikum. Thank you Akbar. You are right in that I did spend some time for publishing this simple homepage. Not for putting the site into shape but in learning to do so. I did not attend courses nor had personal guidance. Just read books.  Once learnt, adding pages and filling them up with materials are relatively easy, relaaaxing and enjoyable.

A word about Akbar: He is a good writer. He has been writing to newspapers mostly on Islam, but stopped writing when the newspapers turned yellow.

Residence: Dubai, United Arab Emirates - Panaikulam origin. 32 years old. 10 years in Dubai working in a Machine Tools company. Father: KMK Abdul Lathif settled in Panaikulam. Three brothers are in Malaysia.

Visitor’s comments: Had your name from Zeenat Rani's Home Page. Your homepage is very nice. Hope you are updating soon.  Will be pleased to know of other websites created by people of Panaikulam origin.

Ameer’s rejoinder: Thank you Azhar. Your father and I were schoolmates. I know of no other website apart from those you have seen in Zeenat's. I intend to review my homepage  (add, amend and/or remove items) as often as possible as long as He allows me. Suggestion: do not try to see and read all the pages at the same time. May become boring. Whenever you are online, just click and visit a couple of pages and move on.

Subject: Happy Y2K!

Dearest Uncle...
Best Wishes for Y2K!

May your hair, your teeth, your face-lift, your abs and your stocks not
fall; and may your blood pressure, your trimly cherish, your
cholesterol, your white blood count and your mortgage interest not rise.

May you get a clean bill of health from your dentist, your cardiologist,
your gesture-endocrinologist, your urologist, your proctologist, your
podiatrist, your psychiatrist, your plumber and the IRS.

May you find a way to travel from anywhere to anywhere in the rush hour
in less than an hour, and when you get there may you find a parking
 space.

May Friday evening, December 31, find you seated around the dinner
table, together with your beloved family and cherished friends, ushering
in the New Year ahead.  You will find the food better, the environment
quieter, the cost much cheaper, and the pleasure much more fulfilling
than anything else you might ordinarily do that night will.

May you wake up on January 1st, finding that the world has not come to
an end, the lights work, the water faucet flow, and the sky has not
 fallen.

May you go to the bank on Monday morning, January 3rd and find your
account is in order, your money is still there and any mistakes are in
 your favour.

May you ponder on January 4th; how did this ultramodern civilization of
ours manage to get itself traumatized by a possible slip of a blip on a
 chip made out of sand.

May what you see in the mirror delight you, and what others see in you
 delight them.

May you remember to say, "I love you" at least once a day to your
spouse, your child, and your parent; but not to your secretary, your nurse,
your masseuse, your hairdresser or your tennis instructor.

May we live as intended, in a world at peace and the awareness of the
beauty in every sunset, every flower's unfolding petals, every baby's
smile and every wonderful, astonishing, miraculous beat of our heart.

Happy New Millennium!
