Bits and Bytes

A few miles from Oxford, there is a park. It was a weekday. There was hardly any visitor. At the distance, I spotted a peacock and quickly moved forward camera in hand. I was afraid that the bird would disappear.

On a sudden, a dozen peacocks and peahens rushed towards me from the bushes, and surrounded me. I became frightened lest they attacked me, and made a quick retreat in panic clutching my dear life and valuable camera.

Another visitor sitting on a bench smiled and told me that the birds were hoping for some grains. I felt foolish and went back to them. No second chance. They knew I had only camera, not grains. They would not come near me.

However, I did manage several shots using long lenses. Here is one of them.
